The general secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo has revealed that this year’s league (2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League) has been very competitive. Speaking to Kumasi-based radio station, Kessben FM, Prosper was pleased with the outcome of the league.
“This year’s league has been very competitive. Looking at our league table, it has been very flat and when the league is flat, it means, winning a few games can affect your performance in the league, you might sometimes have a league with a clear points difference but concerning the premier league, that’s a different case whereby league leaders Aduana Stars lead Medeama SC with just two points and that shows competitive it has been. And that’s how we want the league to be and this is bringing back the interest of the league” – he said
He added that the hope is to review the league and do more to make more people and stakeholders have an interest and the league
“We are happy with the performance of the league and we are working hard to improve our the league as will draw more attention to the league we are very grateful to every individual who has supported us in the course of the season and we will urge them to keep supporting the league”- he added
