Former Ghana Football Association President, George Afriyie has pointed out that, some decisions should be taking at congress in order to reduce the powers of executive committee members of the FA.
In an interview with Kumasi based Akoma fm, he said ” What we want the FA to do is clear. the powers of the executive committee members to be reduced because some decisions can be taking at the congress level”
“The executive committee decides the competition we should play. If they decide, they should present it at congress for us to decide whether we will play or not because at the end of the day is not your money that you will use to play”
“In the recent Division 1 super cup, a club was from Samreboi and was given just GH¢1,000 to play the super cup, is not fair” He added.
“Certain constituent bodies want to be part of decision making and we should give them chance”
