Sergio Aguero has announced that he is hanging up his boots after suffering a cardiac arrhythmia during a Barcelona match on October 30.

Manchester City Legend Sergio Kun Aguero has announced his decision to retire from football after a heart condition that ended his playing ability. The striker moved from England to Spain this summer after winning his 5th Premier League title with the Cityzens.

He is one of the greatest strikers to grace the English League and is the All time goal scorer for Manchester City with 260 goals in all competitions. His famous last minute strike against QPR to hand Manchester City their first English League trophy at the expense of their arch rivals is Unforgettable.

The Argentine has won 12 major trophies since his move from real Madrid in 2011. He is the only player currently with the most Premier League goals for a single club (184).  Again, he is the player with the most Premier League hat-tricks (12). His minute per goal ratio is the best in the league with a goal every 108 minute. He also has the most goals in a single match in the league.

Manchester City, Lionel Messi, Pep Guardiola, Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling, Barcelona, Nasri among many others have sent warm messages to the Argentine after hearing the news. Manchester City have also revealed their plans to unveil his statue outside the Etihad stadium in 2022.
