The issue of money has illuded the national team for soo long and we thought in this new era of leadership at GFA, these things won’t be reoccurring

In 2014, one of the reasons that caused the poor performance of the Black Stars was the issue of money at the World Cup. This made a lot of Ghanaians have a bizarre taste for the senior national team.

With the slogan of the new FA boss Kurt Edwin Simone Orkraku “Bring Back The Love”, many Ghanaians were looking forward to seeing that cases where money take centre stage for reasons for downing the national colours must be replaced by pure patriotic expediency with proper systems put in place to curb all those irrelevant scenarios but it looks like the slogan is a mere mantra without any clear cutout plan

There’s no bad itch to show appreciation to an individual who has accepted to toil for the country by playing for the national team but it should be done in a way that place value for money. A middle-income country like Ghana should be mindful of its spending and not just throw money away all in the name of motivation. Let’s learn from the advanced countries oh how they do certain things on matters like this, it could be of immense help for us

A clear cut plan with measures put in place is the best way of solving our woes not just wasting resources for reasons of no understanding.
