Tarkwa based Medeama SC Midfielder, Rashid Nortey is itching closer to joining newly promoted team Clermont Foot 63 of the French league 1.
According to media reports, he has been on the radar of several teams but Clermont Foot 63 stands the favourite to getting the player put pen to paper for the club.
Clermont Foot 63 is a French association football club based in Clermont-Ferrand. The first incarnation of the club was formed in 1911 and the current club was created in 1990 as a result of a merger. The club plays its home matches at the Stade Gabriel Montpied located within the city.
Rashid Nortey spectacular performance steered Medeama sc to 5th position in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
His performance for this season has been nothing but extraordinary as a result earned his first Black Star call up to the black stars. He made his debut against Morocco in a friendly game.
He has made 24 appearances, 5 assists and scored 2 goals for Medeama SC this season.
