Today, Friday, February 16, 2024, the late Black Stars’ striker, Raphael Dwamena, will be laid to rest. The former striker was pronounced dead on Saturday, November 11, 2023, after collapsing on a football pitch during a league match in Albania.

He suffered a heart attack during the game and passed away shortly after at Kavaja Hospital.

Raphael was only 28 years old and had represented Ghana 9 times, scoring two goals. The Ghana Football Association has assisted the family with the final funeral rites for the ex-national star.

The funeral and burial service will be held at the Adjiriganor Astro Turf in Legon, Accra. May Raphael rest in perfect peace.
