Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency legislator, Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh has challenged the senior national team, Black stars to focus on training and tactics rather than focusing mainly on divine attention from God.
The majority chief whip, speaking on the floor of parliament ahead of 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, said “Mr speaker, the AFCON trophy has eluded us for long because we have decided to turn our attention mainly on prayers”
“Prayers alone can’t guarantee us victory. I have heard the minister of sports reiterating that, we should pray for the team but prayers alone isn’t enough. We should pay more attention to training, tactics and good scouts” He added.
The four time AFCON champions are in group c of the 2021 AFCON alongside Morocco, Comoros and Gabon.
The 33rd edition of AFCON will commence on Sunday January 6th to Sunday February 9th 2022 in Cameroon.
