The first stage of the CAF Champions League is set as the various teams have identified their opponent.
With Ghana’s side, Medeama SC paired with Nigerian side Remo Stars.
With Remo Stars playing against Medeama away from home. Head coach Daniel Ogunmodede said his side playing away to Medeama in the first leg will be an advantage for them.
“Playing away to Medeama in the first leg is an advantage for us. We hope to be in Ghana to cause an upset and try to complement it in Nigeria”- he told Kumasi-based station Oyerepa FM.
Medeama SC will host Rema Stars from the 18th of August to the 20th of August whereas they will visit Nigeria from the 25th of August through to the 27th of August.
