Football in Ghana has been on the decline; however, most stakeholders, fans and experts have contributed their views as to how football in Ghana will rise again to its maximum.

From Attendance at match venues, participation of fans and to zeal to choose our local league above other leagues.

Assistant Coach of the senior National team, the Blackstar’s of Ghana, Didi Dramani has also contributed his quota as to why football (The Betpawa Premier League) within the country is on its decline.

“I think that the game is beginning to take a certain shape, the shape of the structure and you can see that all the teams are trying to implement a clear identity of a structure and this is very important,” he told Citi Sports.

“Right from the build-up play, through to the other phases of play, how teams are trying to play around the channels.

“I also think that there are other concerns which are very critical that we need to address; how players have to stay in the game and football, the game must flow.

“Match officials must also allow the game to flow, sometimes the stoppages are very unnecessary.

“It is a work in progress and I believe we will get there with time,” he added.

However, many stakeholders are finding solutions to the existing problems.
