The end of the season is getting near as teams are keen to reach their respective targets. The midweek action continues as all league centres across the country will be graced with some interesting fixtures. It’s the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League, the only league that matters.

The action starts today as the Accra-based club travels to Tamale to play Tamale City. With the Phobians tasting back-to-back away losses, a hope to overturn that trend will be key today as they take on Tamale City as they move into this game after grabbing a vital point away from home as a win for them will push them far away from the relegation threat zone.

Elsewhere in Dorma, will be league leader Aduana Stars being in action as they tend to restart their league campaign after a loss to Asante Kotoko last Sunday, they host Goldstars from Bibiani. The Ogya Boys return home to the Nana Agyemang Badu Park after serving their temporary band and being slapped with an amount of GHc 20,000 after they clashed with Tamale City earlier this month, a welcome present to the fans against Bibiani Goldstars will see the Ogya Boys go all out as they hope to extend their stay on top of the league since matchday 7, Whereas the visiting side aiming a close to the top 4 of the leagues.

The action ends on Thursday as defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko visits Sogakope to face Accra-based club, Accra Great Olympics. With the Wonder Boys being threatened with relegation, a win for them will foster their chances of moving away from the relegation zone. While the Porcupine Warriors tend to continue their winning streak as they tend to close the gap between them and league leaders Aduana Stars. With the home team adapting the WAFA Park as their new home ground to turn the fortunes around, pressure still finds its way into the team as supporters believe head coach Kobby Kyei Mensah is not good enough for the job, whereas the board thinks otherwise.
