Football in Ghana has been on the decline for some time now, and these results have caused most Ghanaians, football lovers and stakeholders to wonder what the main problem is. However, most people have also submitted their observations as to why the league is no more attractive to the ordinary Ghanaian.
Former Ghanaian footballer, Yussif Chibsah has also given out his submission as to why he thinks people do not patronize the local league. According to him, he believes officiating in our league hasn’t been the best which does not allow people to come into the stadium. He said the same people watching the local league are also exposed to the foreign leagues, so they can easily judge based on that factor.
“ Officiating has not been the best and this is one of the issues that discourage people from coming to the stadium”- he said
