Over the years the scoreboard in our various national stadiums is noted for time checking time and displaying scores of a game publicly at stadiums

Everybody will agree to the fact that that are the two most important functions of the scoreboard since its an introduction to the game in 1890, moving from mechanical to electronic in today’s era

Nevertheless, the scoreboard has undergone advanced improvement over a period which has increased its functionality and usefulness in sports generally. Now, it is used to give video graphics of an ongoing game which transcends in providing replays of events to spectators present at the stadium who were caught unaware during such incident.

Our stadium established years ago have seen a series of renovations in most cases but, unfortunately, the scoreboard is always left out in the process.

Someone may argue about what importance an improved scoreboard adds to the game. Isn’t it money wasting? A big NO is an answer to money wasting. This is because an improved scoreboard adds soo much to the game by increasing spectatorship in our various stadia during match days. One reason why people prefer to watch games via TV rather than having a feel of the live presentation is that the TV will replay incidents that they couldn’t see even from watching the game live. So what propels him to come to the stadium knowing very well that he may not have the chance of a replay.

It doesn’t cost much to improve it. Just allowing the TV coverage right owners of a particular game to provide live coverage on the screens in our stadiums and that’s it.

A word to the wise, It’s surely enough to the willing ears.
