The Black Stars of Ghana in recent years have adopted the usage of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as the preferred home ground for their international games.

However many believe it’s because of a special luck and lack of quality pitches within the country.

Thus, the vice president of the Ghana Football Association Mr. Mark Addo has revealed why Baba Yara Sports Stadium is always considered as the venue for Black Stars game.

“I wish Kumasi becomes the home grounds for the Black Stars. Kumasi is special and it makes our opponent afraid of the mere name of Kumasi” he said.

He later added that the Federation in collaboration with the Ministry is putting everything in place in other to ensure that the Kumasi ground is always fit for international games.

“However we are ensuring to make Kumasi Stadium the standard for all international matches” – he told Kessben Sports.
