The first game of the 2022/2023 matchday 32 of the Betpawa Premier League was on as league leaders Medeama Sporting Club hosted struggling Kumasi-based club Kumasi King Faisal as relegations keep looking at them whiles they were hoping to grab a point back to Kumasi whereas the Medeama are still looking forward to grabbing their first ever league title after a quick overtaking last weekend.

The game which saw many football lovers moving to Akoon Park to throw their support to their respective clubs was fun to watch even on screen.

The Insha Allah Boys however started well as they were hoping to unsettle the home team as they sought to escape the relegation zone and went ahead in the first 10 minutes of the game through Samuel Kusi which eventually settled them in the game. The Mauve and Yellow men however reacted quickly just 9 minutes after being behind via Nurudeen Abdulai as both teams were on level pairs in the first department of the game.

The second department started well for the home side as they hope to get in front as they still have their eye on the title. With the help of the home fans, Medeama were relaxed as they began to dictate the pace of the game. The search for the second goal was still on course as they manage to achieve it in the 69th minute through Joshua Agyemang they managed to control the game till the end of the season which eventually takes them 4 points clear of the top spot whiles King Faisal lie at the bottom of the league with 36 points as the situation for relegations looks worse.

The action continues tomorrow, Saturday and eventually the end of Monday.
