The last action of games of matchday 30 of 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League continued as Medeama SC welcomed Bechem United to Akon Park. It was the battle between the 2nd and 3rd placed teams as they tended to close the gap on league leaders Aduana Stars as they also dropped points against Karela United at home. The home team coming off well after massive support from the fans, looked very determined as they began to dictate the pace of the game in the first minute of the game. The home team however registered two goals from Sowah Jonathan and Atingah Vincent on the 18th and 33rd respectively as they went into the break with their noses upfront.
The second half began well as their away team also came into play as they began to register their authority in the game as they managed to pull one back via Acquah Francis in the last 10 minutes of the game. Eventually, it was not enough to gain them a point against Medeama.
Elsewhere at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park, was league leaders Aduana Stars up against Karela United. With the Ogya Boys hoping to extend their stay on top of the league log from matchday 7. With the Ogya Boys grabbing a point last weekend a search to grab all three points was negative as they shared points with Karela United at home.
Both teams looked very disciplined and compact on the day and shared honours as they continue to change their target for the season.
