It was down to the last stage of the Preliminary Playoffs Stage of the CAF Confederations League.

It was Ghana’s Champions Medeama SC against Guinean side Horoya AC at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for the first leg encounter.

With Medeama SC coming into the game much motivated after being crowned champions of Champions of Ghana.

However, the game started with a dull moment for both teams as they were hoping to find their feet. Thus the first department of the game ended even as both teams went to the drawing board to make great changes.

The second department began well for the home side as Nana Kofi Babil placed them in front with a spectacular strike in the box just three minutes into the game.

The action continued as Nurudeen Abdulai rose to connect to high high-flying corner kick, making it two for the Yellow and Mauve guys.

However, they took a total of over the game as Kofi Asmah gave them the third goal just three minutes after Nurudeen’s second.

The home side was up by 3 goals as Horoya AC pulled one back in the dying embers of the game as Medeama SC grabbed a massive win going into the second leg next week.
