Ghanaian champions Medeama SC took on Nigeria side Remo Stars in their first stage of the CAF Champions League preliminary playoffs stage.
With the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League champions grabbing a win at home last weekend, it is very positive to complete their mission far away in Nigeria Endo state.
With the home side, Remo Stars dominating play in the first and second department of the game saw an own goal from the Ghanaian side which placed them on the level pairs on aggregate after 90 minutes.
They however headed straight into a penalty shootout as Ghanaian side Medeama qualified for the next stage of the CAF Champions League after beating Remo Stars 3-2 on penalties.
Medeama SC will face Guinea Side Horoya FC in the next stage of the competition.
