Kylian Mbappe will reportedly take over the France captaincy after allegedly being chosen by Les Blues manager Didier Deschamps. France is currently without a captain after the resignation of Hugo Lloris after December’s World Cup final defeat to Argentina, leaving the number one spot and captain’s armband up for grabs.
However, after careful consideration of the nation’s remaining stars, decision-maker Deschamps has chosen Mbappe to take on the huge responsibility, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
The 24-year-old French International who has been a phenomenon for the Le Blues seems to be the perfect suit as the new captain of the team.
However, the French Football Federation is yet to make the new appointment official.
