The action of the only league that matters, the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League continues as matchday 27 is set to feed us with some great fixtures across various match venues in the country as most teams are set to meet their seasonal target as the end of the season draws closer.

The action begins in Accra today as the Accra-based club welcomes Medeama SC to the Accra sports stadium as they push through the most important three points. With Accra Lions tasting defeat away from home last weekend, a sure way to restart play is on course as they host the yellow and mauve guys. Medeama coming into this game very high after grabbing a slim win over new baby Kotoku Royals on matchday 26. With Medeama just three points behind league leaders Aduana stars will hope to equal points with the Ogya Boys hoping for a slip-up against defending champions Asante Kotoko, whereas Accra Lions will love to climb back into the top 4 of the league.

The actions however continue on Saturday, as Accra based club visits Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour’s Park as they battle it out again for the maximum three points. It’s the battle of 3rd and 4th position as both teams are separated by a point as they both hope to depend on their gab. With Phobians picking a win over 10 men Nsoatreman last weekend, they will love to continue their winning streak as they visit Bechem United away from home whereas Bechem United tasting defeat from Tamale City last weekend an opportunity to restart their campaign will be the focus of the match as they tend to avoid back-to-back defeat.

The action ends on Sunday as defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host league leaders Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. With the Porcupine Warriors falling out of the title race the Ogya Boys hope to still hold on to their top lead campaign. With Kotoko losing massively to Berekum Chelsea last weekend, the Porcupine Warriors will hope to restart the winning campaign against league leaders Aduana Stars as they tend to continue their winning streak. A win for the home side will push them into the top 4 hoping for a slip from Bechem United or Hearts of Oak.

Elsewhere Great Olympics will welcome the Tamale-based club, Tamale City as they start a new campaign at the Sogakope Park as they chase a spot in the league.
