The last game of the ongoing 2022/2023 MTN FA Cup semi-finals was on as Kumasi-based club, Kumasi King Faisal visited Nsoatreman United at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as they battled it out for the last slot for the finals.

With both teams looking focused they want to grab the only available slot for the MTN FA Cup Finals as they hope to get the ticket to represent Ghana at the Africa stage was the main goal as both teams were relentless as the whistle was blown for the start of the game.

The home side Nsoatreman going ahead from the spot under 10 minutes via Samuel Ofori as they looked sharp in the first 10 minutes of the game gave them full control of the game.

King Faisal however got their feet back on track after the half-hour mark into the game as they continue to press on to get the leveller as Baba Yahaya was on target again for the Insha Allah Boys.

The Insha Allah Boys continued to press on as they began to dictate the pace of the game Frimpong Boateng gave them the lead after going behind just under 9 minutes as they went to the break with noses upfront.

The second department saw a dramatic performance from both teams as they wanted to push their last effort to grab the space for the finals.

The second half began as the home side started well as they eventually had the leveller just 10 minutes into the second half again. Kwame Nana Junior gave a huge relief to the fans and players of Nsoatreman as they were hoping to grab a goal to close the game but a shocking strike from Samuel Adom Antwi restored the lead for King Faisal as they managed to guide the game as they pulled through to the finals as they set to meet Dreams FC in the 2022/2023 MTN FA Cup finals.

The final comes off on the 17th of June 2023.
