It was the first set of actions in the ongoing 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League matchday 24 as most teams pulled up some spectacular performances in aid to chase their league target.

Starting at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi, it was the King Faisal Football Club in action with Karela United. The visiting team came into this game very confident coming into this game after beating Accra based club on matchday 23, while the Insha Allah boys were hoping to turn a new leaf after the parting ways of head coach Jimmy. At the end of 90 minutes of football action, King Faisal saw past Karela United by 3 goals to 2, pushing the Insha Boys to the 14th position on the league log with 28 points.

A switch to Bono was the Bono Derby between league leaders Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea. Their game indeed was cracked after both teams finished the first department without a goal. A late strike from Douglas Owusu Ansah in the 88th minute was cancelled out by Mizack Afriyie on 90 plus additional time making the Ogya Boys dropping points again away from home, however, the Ogya Boys are still leading the league log with 3 points awaiting the results between Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Lions.

Elsewhere, Dreams FC lost to Bechem United with 10 men away from home whereas the game between Medeama SC and Bibiani Goldstars was called off after a heavy downpour after the first department of the game.
With the first half ending goalless at Akon Park. The remaining 45 minutes will be played on Thursday (30/03/23) at 9 am.
