Dreams FC took on Sierra Leon side FC Kallon in the second round of the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary playoffs stage as both teams are hoping to get the nod to the group stages of the competition.

The 2022/2023 MTN FA Cup winners made it past Milo FC de Kankan after an impressive performance at home whereas FC Kallon was propelled into his round due to the withdrawal of AS Douanes amid political turmoil in Niger.

The still Believers got the opener through Godfred Atuahene in the 11th minute as they took charge of the game completely.
Dreams FC however were unlucky as they threw away a lot of opportunities as they seemed the second goal of the day in the first department.

The visitors however came on level terms on the 45th minute as they head into the break even.

The second department took another twist as the home team registered their authority over the FC Kallon as they got the lead again from the spot through John Antwi which was enough to secure them the win at home.

Dreams will however travel to Sierra Leon for the second leg against FC Kallon.
