Techiman Eleven Wonders coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu has lamented on the consistent negative headlines related to officials of the Ghana premier league.
Speaking with Startimes after their home loss to Hearts of oak, he said
“Tactically we beat them, they did not pass from 1st half to 2nd half. I thought Hearts of oak play possessive football as their coach always say but we didn’t see that today”.
“They never put together two passes, It just that we gave them a goal away and I talked about referees not taking away the shine”. He added.
The Ghana U17 assistant coach, reacting to the controversial penalty incident, said “From where I was sitting and from the replay I saw from Startimes, that is a penalty on any day and am surprised the FIFA referee of that calibre didn’t see it”.
“This is what I was calling for, I said we should discuss the game not refereeing the incident.” He reiterated.
The young tactician expressed his willingness to escape relegation if only his players take advantage of their chances in subsequent matches.
