Senegalese fast-rising young player Ishmael Sarr will be out of this year tournament due to a knee injury.
Before his call-up to the national team his team Watford were reluctant to his release sighting reasons of injury which could be enlarged if the player participate in the tournament
The Senegal National team insisted on the player’s availability in the squad and for them to have a check on his condition before deciding on him
The team’s medical staff have assessed Ismaila Sarr and are satisfied that he is, indeed, injured – just as Watford said.
Sarr will now travel to Spain for knee specialist treatment and it’s likely to be out for 4 to 5 weeks after the surgery.
It is quite unfortunate that football fans will miss his exploits on the field but his fitness is needed for tomorrow.
