It was the second leg fixture in the ongoing 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League Competition. It was the clash of two Italian giants (Inter Milan and AC Milan) as both teams were hoping to grab a spot in the final.
With Inter Milan having an advantage in the first leg, after grabbing a 2-0 goal lead, AC Milan was hoping to complete a comeback as their hope for their 8th UCL title was still on course.
The game which started well for the home team made it more difficult for AC Milan as their hope for the night was been shuttered.
The first half was barren but both teams were tactically disciplined Milan went into the break disappointed as they went back to the drawing board.
The second department switched on into the hands of AC Milan as they began to dictate the pace of the game but eventually were broken after Inter’s Lautaro Martinez found the scoresheet in the 74th making the scores 3-0 on aggregate.
Inter Millan however continued to prove their dominance over their rivals as they completed the double over AC Milan tonight.
They book a place in the final in Istanbul awaiting the results between Real Madrid and Manchester City tomorrow.
