It was a difficult moment for the Accra-based side Accra Hearts of Oak last season. The Phobians had to battle it out in the last game as they grabbed a point to stay in the Betpawa Premier League even after sacking the head coach of the club just three months into his office.

However, a lot of people were hoping the Phobians will go on relegation but eventually, that did not materialize.

Former player and legend of the club Dan Quaye has revealed that he would have been happy if his former side Accra Hearts of Oak will have gone on relegation to the Access Bank Division One league last season, which will serve deterrent for the leaders of the club.

“I’d have been happy if Hearts had gone on relegation to Division One last season. That would have sent a lesson for our leaders to learn sense”- he said.

The Phobians are hoping to appoint a new head coach ahead of the 2023/2024 season after failing to capture Coach Annor Walker who switch camp again to their rivals Accra Great Olympics.
