Head coach of Chelsea football club, Frank Lampard believes qualification to the last 4 of the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions Leagues is possible.
According to him, in football, anything is possible after 90 minutes. Chelsea lost to Real Madrid away from home by 2 goals to 0. However, a return of that fixture comes off tomorrow at Stamford Bridge where the Blues will hope to overturn the score line.
“I think everything is possible in football anyway and there’s no doubt we are a competitive team and we deserve to be here. We understand the opponent is high-level. It’s always possible to create another story”- he said.
He added that he believes tomorrow will be a great atmosphere and the rest will be on the team to deliver.
“I’ve got no doubt it will be a positive atmosphere. The rest is down to us as a team to play with the real desire and know-how to turn it around. They can help us for sure. We just need to play our part”.
