Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah has clearly stated that the decision to part ways with coach Maxwell Konadu was in the best interest of the club.
“I don’t want to look down on anyone but Kotoko operate base on data, statistics and facts and at the time Maxwell was sacked his records, win percentage was 42% which is below the winning ratio and percentage of Kotoko,” he told Asempa fm.
The enterprising young CEO reiterated that Mariano Barreto’s win percentage of 59-60% is encouraging as compared to Maxwell Konadu’s own at Kotoko hence they don’t regret replacing him with the Portuguese.
