Starting today, Accra-based club Accra Hearts of Oak will visit Bibiani Goldstars at Dun’s Park in Bibiani. The Phobians will like to continue their momentum after a sweet victory over rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko and crown its day as the champions of the 2023 Presidential cup. Whereas Goldstars coming into this game after losing to Bechem United away from home last weekend.
With the Phobians set to miss the action of their first shot-stopper, Richmond Ayi, Richard Atta and Eric Ofori Antwi are in contention to get the nod as the shot-stopper for the game. The action ends on Monday when Accra Lions who are second in the league with 34 points will welcome Dreams FC to the Accra Sports Stadium. A win for them will push them to first as they hope for a drop in points for the Ogya Boys.
Defending Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko won’t be in action, as their home grounds go through maintenance for the Blackstars game later this month.
