Ghanaian giants, Accra Hearts of oak have been crowned champions of the competitive 2020/21 Ghana premier league with sixty-one points(61) after thirty-four matches of action.
The Phobians played their last match as a guest to Wafa at Sogakope park in a game dubbed the coronation match to officially hand the trophy and gold medals to the league champions.
Before the match, the academy boys gave the Phobians a respectable guard of honour but on the field of play, Wafa did the needful by triumphing by a goal to nil and ending the Rainbow boys 11 matches unbeaten run.
After eleven solid years of major trophy drought, Hearts of Oak have won the Ghana premier league for the 21st time and look forward to adding the 2020/21 FA Cup to their trophy cabinet which has reached the quarter-finals.
The Phobians would represent Ghana in the 2021/22 CAF champions league.
