It was the first game of matchday 29 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League as Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak welcomed Kumasi-based club, Kumasi King Faisal to the Accra Sports Stadium under floodlight.

With the Phobians experiencing a back-to-back away defeat, a hope to restart their chase for the league title was on as they looked confident into the game.

With first-choice stop skipper, Richard Atta returning to the squad after the injuries of Richard Ayi and Eric Ofori.

The game saw the Phobians trying to put their passes together as the visitors looked purposeful as they also eye a clinch for the title.

The first department of the game was barren as both teams were tactically disciplined and very cautious waiting for an opportunity to punish their opponent.

The second department started well for the home team as they were dictating the pace of the game as they hope to create some decent chances to get the opener.

Changes from assistant coach (Caretaker) David Oclu made a great impact as they continued to dictate the pace of the game.

The Phobians eventually had the opener through a last-minute strike from Salifu Ibrahim in the 89th minute which made the home team and supporters calm.

A loss of concentration from the Insha Allah Boys in the last minute of the game, saw Linda Mtange double the lead for the Phobians which eventually closed the action for the day.

A win for the Phobians however pushed them back to the 4th position on the league log with 45 points.

The action continues tomorrow across all league venues and will end on Monday.
