Ghana Premier League side, Accra Great Olympics has parted ways with the head coach, Yaw Preko after five months, following a run of a poor run of results.

The 41-year-old departed the club after their 2-1-win defeat to newly promoted side Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, leaving them in 11th place on the league log with only 23 points.

Yaw Preko took charge from Annor Walker in September 2022 and supervised 17 games with 6 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses, during his stay at the club.

However former Ghana international Isaac Armah and Blackstars goalkeepers trainer Richard Kingston have been given temporary charge of the team.

Great Olympics will begin the second round of the BetPawa Premier League against Bechem United on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
