The 2020/2021 season of the Ghana Premier League returns for the second round this weekend with Matchday 18 fixtures across the country.
Ho based Broadcast Journalist, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe will be at the helm of affairs in the game between Techiman Eleven Wonders and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Ohene Ameyaw Park at 3 pm on Saturday, April 3.
It will be Rustum’s first Eleven Wonders game but the 2nd for Kotoko away this season; having officiated Dreams vs Kotoko (0-1) on December 20. Interestingly, all his Kotoko away games ended in victory for the Porcupine Warriors; Karela 0-1 Kotoko (Week 13, 2019/2020 season).
Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu’s side (14th with 20 points) has tormented notable Clubs in the Premier League and will not be pushovers in this game although they are yet to defeat Kotoko.
They shared the spoils 1-1 with Kotoko on Matchday 1 and would seek to continue their home victories, having beaten Great Olympics and Legon Cities 1-0 in their 2 previous home matches.
For Kotoko, 4th on the league table with 27 points, it could be a new era as former Black Stars gaffer Mariano Baretto seeks his first 3 points since his appointment during the break.
Rustum will be assisted on the lines by Sulemana Deen and Ato Yawson, while Philip Arthur Forson man’s the 4th official post with James kakra Adjei as Match Commissioner.
