It was the first league win for defending Champions Medeama SC as they visited Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in their matchday 4 Premier League encounter.
With Medeama SC not recording a win in the league but being very impressive in Africa, the tone was set for the Yellow and Mauve guys as they hope to restart their domestic campaign on high again.
However, the game took a twist for the defending Champions as the home team went ahead in the first 30 minutes of the game through Cephas Kofi Martey who eventually guided it off till the end of the first department.
The second department started on a different curve as the visitors began to warm themselves into the game as Jonathan Sowah gave his side the equalizer in the 75th minute.
The goal however gave the boost as they continued to search for more and stage a comeback.
With 5 minutes to end the game, Ebenezer Nkrumah answered the prayers of the yellow and Mauve guys as they completed a comeback to grab their first win in the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League.
The action however continues tomorrow, with Accra Hearts of Oak hosting Dreams FC in Accra, Karela United up against Great Olympics, and Nations FC locking horns with Legon Cities.
