It was down to the last of matchday 2 of the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League. It was the Accra Lions against Legon Cities in Sogakope. With Accra Lions dropping points on the opening fixture, Legon Cities recorded a win at home.
The game saw an early goal from Evans Botchway in the 14th minute which settled the home side for the day.
The game continued with the same rhythm running into the break which saw the second half having the same energy.
With Legon Cities pushing for an equalizer in the game, Accra Lions were tactically disciplined as they managed to go home with the whole three points.
The league however returns this weekend with some interesting games.
