Matchday 5 of the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League starts with a cracker in Kumasi as Asante Kotoko will welcome last season’s runners-up Aduana Stars to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. After recording its first victory in the season against Accra Lions on Monday, Aduana on the other hand also grabbed a win over struggling Berekum Chelsea.
However, the Ogya Boys will have something to relieve them as the Porcupine Warriors have not recorded a win in their last 6 home games, after a win over Aduana Stars by 2 goals to 1 last season (23/04/2023).
But Kotoko will have to hole on their record of dominance over Aduana in their last three appearances after picking 5 points out of 9 points.
A win for the Porcupine will push them to the second spot on the league log whereas the Ogya Boys will climb on to the league hoping to repeat their dominance on top of the league, a repeat of last season.
