Accra Hearts of Oak has been under pressure after their opening match defeat to Tamale-based club Real Tamale United.
Most people identify shot-stopper Richard Attah as the main cause of their defeat on match day one.
Former player and legend of the club Charles Taylor believes Richard Attah is not fit to be the number one for the club. According to him, Attah has grown in terms of size thus hindering him from performing well, he revealed this in an interview with Accra-based station Angel TV.
“When you look at the goal that Richard Attah conceded, you won’t understand because how can a keeper of his size allow this,” – he said.
He further emphasized that the trainers should select hard-working personnel and give them the chance.
“All these, the goalkeepers’ trainer has to know that the keepers have to be hardworking. Looking at the size of Attah, he shouldn’t have been allowed to be in the post,” he added.
