The countdown to the Confederation of African Football competition is on as Ghana’s Medeama SC set to participate in their first-ever CAF Champions League competition against Nigeria side Remo Stars, after emerging as winners of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League season.
Vice president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Mark Addo has urged the yellow and Mauve guys to give their best as they set to represent Ghana in the Africa stage. He said this during his visit to the club as they prepare to host Remo Stars on Sunday.
“I’m here in the name of Mr Kurt E. S Okraku and the Ghana Football Association and our main words for you is that, we are rallying behind you, you have our maximum support. Remember you are representing the whole country. It’s evident we have tried on several attempts to achieve something on this level so many times, but we fail to achieve them.
We urge you all to fight well for the good name of Ghana and the club. Go and make us proud and in whatever case fight, fight and fight, believe in each other and whatever the outcome will be, we believe you will succeed”- he told the team.
