The exciting Ghana premier league continued over the weekend with Kumasi Asante Kotoko hosting Medeama Sc at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium on Saturday.
The porcupine warriors took the lead in the 13th-minute courtesy of Skipper, Emmanuel Gyamfi. The Mauve and Yellow club fought back strongly with an equalizer through forwarding Prince Opoku Agyemang in the 30th minute.
Coach Mariano Barreto expected a win but the midfielder, Richard Boadu’s 45th-minute strike decided the match in favour of the Tarkwa based club.
Ibrahim Yaro of Medeama was named Man of the match.

LIBERTY vs BEREKUM CHELSEA
At Sogakope, Forward Abraham Wayo and Amadu Awudu goals were enough to win the match, 2-0 for relegation-threatened Liberty Professionals.

DWARFS vs GREAT OLYMPICS
At the Cape Coast sports stadium, Abusua Dwarfs humiliated inform Accra Great Olympics by four goals to one courtesy of Simon Martey, Alia Kofi, Michael Asamoah and Effram with veteran Gladson Awako getting a consolation goal for the Dade Boys.

WAFA vs Techiman XI WONDERS
Abu Basit’s lone goal decided the match in favour of Wafa at the expense of Techiman based XI Wonders at Sogakope stadium.

LEGON CITIES vs DREAMS FC
At the Accra sports stadium, Legon cities and Dreams FC ended in stalemate after Hans Kwoffie and Abdul Jalilu goals for respective clubs.

ASHANTIGOLD vs BECHEM UTD
Bechem united suffered a 4-0 humiliating defeat to host, Ashantigold at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium. Yaw Annor, Amos Addai, Seth Osei and midfielder, David Abanga Sanda registered their names on the score sheet.

INTER ALLIES vs KING FAISAL
At the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, strugglers, Inter Allies and King Faisal battled but Zubairu Ibrahim’s lone goal won the day for Kumasi based King Faisal.
Wadudu Yakubu was named man of the match.

ADUANA STARS vs E. SHARKS
Elmina Sharks trailed by 2-1 to Aduana Stars after Sam Adam’s brace and Justice Mensah consolation for Sharks.

KARELA vs HEARTS OF OAK
It was a highly intensive encounter between Karela united and title contenders Accra Hearts of Oak at the Crosby Awuah Memorial park in Anyenase. Maxwell Boakye put Karela ahead in the 71st minute from a close range. Second-half substitute Kojo Obeng Jnr equalized with a header from Salifu Ibrahim’s corner kick.
