Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics matchday 3 fixture were postponed to 17th December 2020 due to the former CAF champions league preliminary round trip to Mauritania against FC Noudhibou.
The 24 times Ghana premier league champions needed a victory against Olympics in this crucial outstanding game to boost the team’s morale, going into CAF champions league preliminary 2nd round game against Sudanese giants AL Hilal on Wednesday, 23rd December 2020 at the Accra sports stadium but the “Wonder Club” Accra Great Olympics got the final laugh after Michael Yeboah’s strike in the 53rd minute.

Accra Great Olympics has recorded their first Ghana premier league away victory against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 26yrs.

Accra Hearts of Oak now play as a guest to Kumasi-based King Faisal on Saturday 19th December 2020 at Nana Ameyaw park while Kumasi Asante Kotoko focuses on Dreams FC at Accra sports stadium on Sunday, 20th December 2020.
