Former Ghanaian goalkeeper Mr. George Owu believes that Ghana can win next year’s Total Energies African Cup of Nations tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Ghana being four times Champions of Africa, there has been a recent drop in performance from the Black Stars after being second in the 2015 African Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

After an abysmal performance from the Black stars in Cameroon, Ghanaians are hoping the have a quick rebuild under new gaffer Chris Hughton after securing qualification to Cote D’Ivoire.

According to Mr. Owu, he believes the Black Stars will have a good campaign in Cote d’Ivoire as he tips the Black Stars to win the trophy after 41 years of waiting.

“This Ghana team can win the AFCON with the right support and motivation from Ghanaians,” he told Accra-based Onua FM.
