Ghanaian International football defender, Mohammed Salisu has recently missed out on action for the Southampton Football Club in the English Premier League.
Salisu has been an integral part of the Saint squad but has recently lost his place on the matchday squad.
However, there have been several rumours as to why he has not been fielded.
According to The Athletic, Southampton has left out Mohammed Salisu from recent matchday squads because of ‘doubts over his commitment’.
However, It is now very unlikely that he will extend his deal at the club, which expires in June 2024.
Mohammed Salisu has made 51 tackles for Southampton in the Premier League this season. His 80 tackles and 78 interceptions ranked 8th and 1st in the 21/22 Premier League.
