It’s been 12 days since Turkey and Syria experienced an earthquake which saw many lives and property destroyed.

However, football has been one of the supportive units that seek to support the welfare of its people in difficult times.

Following that, FIFA’s Foundation has decided to provide USD 1 million in aid to Türkiye and Syria earthquake victims.
This is to aid users to purchase and distribute essential humanitarian items, as well as to provide emergency and temporary shelter and protection.

As reported by many sporting outlets, many have been rescued while some including Ghanaian International Christian Atsu have been trapped under the rubble for days.
