Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has joined division three side Maryland Bobcat FC on a three-year contract.
Felix who was a free agent before signing his new contract has been with the Porcupine family for 9 yrs. He joined the club in 2011 and was loaned to RTU and WAFA in 2014 and 2015 respectively for playing time purposes.
In 2016 Annan became the main man in the post and he has made the experience gathered at the bench and as a loanee count.
Felix reflexes and how difficult it is to score him in 1 and 1 situations in most cases coursed his rise to fame. He was no doubt the fans favourite. Even coaches from opposition teams praised the effort of the fantastic goalkeeper after games and even wished he was in their squad.
Being an integral member of Asante Kotoko’s CAF competitions campaign in the last 6 yrs his effort merited a call-up to the national team from 2017 to 2019.
Felix won 6 league titles with Asante Kotoko. MVP awards are many to his credit. Maryland Bobcat FC has indeed had a tried and tested saver pair of hands to keep the goalpost.
