Swiss giants, FC Basel has signed Ghanaian youngster, Emmanuel Essiam from Berekum Chelsea on a 4-year contract.
The contract which runs until 2026 will expect the Ghanaian robust midfielder to bring his promising talent and dynamism into play.
Sporting director Philipp Kaufmann made these eulogies on the U20 AFCON winner ‘We are pleased that with Emmanuel we can tie a promising talent in midfield to FCB in the long run’

‘Welcome to FCB, Sali Emmanuel! He is only 18 years old but already has the skills of a seasoned player. Emmanuel signed a long-term contract with Rotblau until the summer of 2026.
Emmanuel Essiam joins FCB from Berekum Chelsea FC of the Ghana Premier League. He is a U20 national player in his home country and takes on his first challenge abroad in Basel with great development potential. FCB will carefully introduce him to the new environment and give him the best possible support in developing his skills to the full’.
