The 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier is gradually coming to an end as some team’s fate in the league are yet to be decided. However, with a few games to end the season, Kumasi-based club Kumasi King Faisal has been relegated from the Betpawa Premier League. Despite adding King Faisal back to the top-flight league in 2019 after the Ghana Football Association expanded the league to 18 teams.
The Insha Allah Boys’ fate was decided yesterday after their win over Legon Cities on matchday 33. Despite their win over the Accra-based club, Legon Cities it was not enough to guarantee they stay in the league however they were pushed down to the Access Bank Division One league.
However, King Faisal has an opportunity to win silverware as they battle out Dreams in the final of the MTN FA Cup.
