It was the first game of the ongoing 2022/2023 MTN FA Cup semi-finals at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as Dreams FC hosted Skyy FC as they seek to fight for a place in the finals.
A game of high expectations as both teams looked great considering the surprises that come with this competition “Obia Nye Obia” was taken into consideration.
However the “still believers” men started off the game on a strong note as they went ahead just 2 minutes into the game through Simba Sylvester as they looked composed while continuing to dictate the pace of the game.
Skyy FC however had the opportunity to come back on level terms with Dreams from the spot but missed it out as Dreams FC went ahead to double their lead through Huzaf Ali just 18th minutes into the game.
The second goal calmed things down for Dreams FC as they decided to manage the game before the break.
Eric Antwi Konadu eventually pulled one back for Skyy FC as they went into the break with something to fight for in the second department of the game.
The believers continued to guide their way as the second half was managed well by them as they sailed through to the final of the MTN FA Cup as they await the winner between King Faisal and Nsoatreman FC tomorrow.
