The race for the third UEFA Champions League trophy for Chelsea continues as the blues set to start the knockout campaign against German-based club Borussia Dortmund after a huge January transfer spending.

The blues are eager to prelaunch a good record of winning in Europe as a consolation for their domestic performance under Graham Potter, who is yet to taste defeat in Europe.

However, Dortmund on the other hand is ready to fight for its first UEFA Champions League trophy as they believe the 81,365 fans will be of help in their fight against the two times UEFA Champions League winners tonight.

With 13 points, Chelsea placed first in group H whereas Dortmund placed second with 9 points in group G.

Head coach of the Yellow and Black Edin Tardic is hoping his side will put up a good fight against the blues.

With injuries being the major concern for the blues, Graham Potter is said to vary new tactics with the new arrivals.

With a win for the Yellow and Black over the weekend over Werder Bremen, Chelsea also shared honours with its London rivals West Ham.

However, this is going to be the first meeting for club clubs in this competition.
