It’s the preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Total Energies African Cup of Nations tournament in Cote d’Ivoire. The Black Stars of Ghana will take on the Lone Stars of Liberia in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium today.

With Liberia yet to finish up their African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Morocco due to the earthquake in Morocco, this game will serve as a preparation stage for the Lone Stars whereas this will also serve as good ground for the Black Stars of Ghana as they hope to build a formidable side for their upcoming matches.

With most Ghanaians not satisfied with the style of play from the team under coach Chris Hughton, this game will serve as a platform to restructure good team play within the squad.

The match comes off today at the Accra Sports Stadium at 4 pm.
