Azimati who placed fourth during the first event (Heat) rose to the challenge in the final to be crowned the ultimate
This makes it the first time a Ghanaian athletic in the 100m the race has won gold at the globally accepted championship
Benjamin looks forward to breaking the record of 9.87 set by the arguably the world’s fastest athlete Usain Bolt in 2009.
